Shawn Cayer
Windhill + Co. Founder
Shawn Cayer has over thirty years of experience in the construction and real estate industry. The son of a builder, his introduction to the field began at an early age, visiting job sites with his father. Though he certainly didn’t know it at the time, this was the very start of the path to Windhill + Co. All through his school years, Shawn worked summers on local North Shore sites. All through college and early professional years in the Global Tech world, Shawn never stopped building. As soon as he could, he partnered on development opportunities, built his own house, built houses for family… Shawn built houses for the challenge, for the feeling of accomplishment, for the joy of the process. Shawn’s love for this trade has always run deep, and today that commitment and passion is evident in every Windhill project.
Every Windhill project benefits from his broad expertise in the building trades, his deep understanding of the region and the nuances of building in coastal New England. A native of Ipswich, MA, Shawn also maintains close ties to his community, working with various boards, associations, and organizations. These relationships exemplify Shawn’s devotion to his family and community as well as his dedication to the real estate and construction industries. Shawn spends his free time with family up at the lakes in New Hampshire and is always up for a round on the links.
